Work is about to start on work to upgrade the traffic signals at the junction of MOSS BANK WAY with SMITHILLS DEAN ROAD and HALLIWELL ROAD.

When the work is finished the signals should be more responsive to volumes of traffic during different times and should reduce delays.

We are also promised that pedestrian crossing facilities at the junction will be improved – we are trying to get more details on this.

Work should be finished by the end of September.
